The Reiki Symbols And Its Uses
The secret symbols are used to permanently grant access to these Reikienergies. These energies are as old as the Universe and have always been available but were only discovered in the early nineteenth century by Dr. Mikao Usui. The symbols assist in channeling the energy.
The symbol assists you in focusing on a particular healing frequency.
Each symbol is given both a traditional and a modern name. For instance, the traditional symbol "Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen" has been renamed "Distance symbol" in the west. I propose that you refer to the symbols by their traditional names.
Depending on the circumstances, you can invoke/activate the symbol in one of the following ways:
For healing at a distance:
- Using your opposite open hand, draw the secret symbol. It's beneficial when dealing with physical healing.
- Visualize the symbol by closing your eyes. Now, in your imagination, attempt to draw the symbol. If you can't recall, practice a few times until you can do it completely blindfolded. This is beneficial when performing non-physical healing.
By five times, it is spelling out the symbol's name. This is beneficial when performing non-physical healing.
Self-healing or person-to-person healing:
- With your hand's center in the air, draw a circle approximately 10cm away from the area to heal. It is advantageous when dealing with physical healing. By five times spelling out the symbol's name. This is beneficial when performing non-physical healing.
